CHRIS Bush wants to stay at Kingsmeadow for the rest of the season – but warned Dons fans his long-term future is at Brentford .
The Bees youngster has impressed on work experience with the Blue Square Premier leaders, keeping former Arsenal, Spurs and Chelsea left-back Andre Blackman on the sidelines.
Bush is at AFC Wimbledon on a week-to-week basis, but Brentford boss Andy Scott will make a decision on his future in the new year.
However, the 18-year-old is hoping for the green light to remain in south-west London as he bids to earn a professional contract with his parent club.
He said: "I'm really enjoying it. It's good to be playing and being top of the league is great.
"If I was at Brentford I would just be playing youth team games and maybe be on the fringe of the first-team.
"I'm developing well here and it's great to get games under my belt."
He added: "Brentford haven't said anything to me yet about next season. Hopefully I can keep on playing well and get offered a professional contract.
"That's my aim. They're my club and they were the ones who took me out of non-league and showed faith in me."
