BRENTFORD winger Kirk Hudson is training with Southend United with a view to a possible loan move.

The former Aldershot star has had a nightmare spell at Griffin Park since his switch from the Recreation Ground in 2010, making just three substitute appearances.

Hudson was shipped out on loan to AFC Wimbledon for the second-half of last season, but managed just one goal for the Dons before returning to the Bees with a hip injury.

But the 24-year-old is now back to fitness, and will train with the Shrimpers until Thursday in a bid to secure a loan move to the League Two club.
