UWE Rosler will make a decision on Shaleum Logan's Brentford future in the next fortnight.
The former Manchester City full-back is out of contract in the summer, and failed to play the number of games to trigger the automatic option in the deal.
Logan is keen to remain at Griffin Park , but Rosler has other irons in the fire and is still weighing up whether to offer fresh terms to the 23-year-old.
He said: “We are still in contact but both parties are exploring different avenues.
“We know where each other stand and will make a decision in the next two weeks.”
Logan made 32 appearances for Brentford last season, scoring four goals.
