CRAIG Woodman is set to play through the pain barrier in tomorrow night's clash at Griffin Park .

The Brentford left-back has suffered a stress fracture in his foot, which ruled him out of last weekend's win against Leyton Orient.

But boss Nicky Forster is managing the 28-year-old's training schedule, and has been passed fit to play against the Cumbrians.

Pim Balkestein is also in line for a return to the squad after recovering from a groin problem.

However, Forster must do without duo Sam Saunders and Robbie Simpson, who are both nursing ankle injuries.

Richard Lee (shoulder) and Charlie MacDonald (ankle) are the only long-term absentees.
