DEREK McInnes is remaining coy around speculation linking him with the Brentford job.
The St Johnstone boss has confirmed he has held talks over the vacant post at Griffin Park, but has led his side to three-straight SPL wins since.
And the 39-year-old, who is on a three-man shortlist for the role in TW8 along with Roberto Di Matteo , insists he's happy at McDiarmid Park.
He said: "The Brentford thing is something that happened a week ago. The chairman gave me permission and I went and spoke with them.
"We have won three games since the first contact, so I haven't taken my eye off the ball and am still working hard for St Johnstone.
"To be honest, nothing has developed since that. For me, I am trying to do the job here. If you're doing your job well that might attract attention.
"We've had speculation before but it's never stopped me doing my best for St Johnstone and I will keep on doing that until somebody says different.
"I must reiterate the fact I am happy here. It's a good place to work."
