BRENTFORD have sent Sam Saunders for a scan to discover the extent of his hamstring problem.

The former Dagenham flyer suffered the injury in training on Monday, which ruled him out of last night's JPT win against Charlton .

Saunders has starred since returning to the Bees first-team last month, and boss Andy Scott is keeping his fingers crossed the problem isn't too serious.

He said: "Sam felt his hamstring a little bit in training on Monday.

"It cramped up so he's going for a scan today. We didn't want to risk him against Charlton ."
