UWE Rosler has tipped youngster Luke Norris for a bright future after handing the striker his first appearance of the season in Saturday's defeat against Sheffield Wednesday.
With loanee Clinton Morrison ineligible against his parent club, Rosler included youth-teamer Norris on the bench, coming on as a late substitute for Shaleum Logan.
The frontman has already been offered a professional contract to be part of the Brentford's development squad next season.
And boss Rosler hopes he can come back firing on all cylinders in the summer.
He said: “Luke looks unpredictable in training and can make things happen in and around the box.
“He's just came back from a long-term injury and isn't 100 per cent match-fit.
“It was a reward for a young player and also motivation ahead of pre-season training.”
