BRENTFORD striker Ben Strevens hopes his effort in Saturday's draw at Leeds United will trigger a goal-glut.
The former Dagenham frontman scrambled home Charlie MacDonald's shot to give the Bees the lead at Elland Road, only for Jermaine Beckford to deny them victory with a late leveller.
It was only the 29-year-old's fourth goal since moving across the capital in the summer, but he has set his sights on six more.
He said: "I didn't know much about it, to be honest, but I was in the box and sometimes you need goals like that.
" Andy Scott wants more goals from all around the team. At the start of the season I wanted double figures, and despite the injury, I feel I can still get towards that.
"Strikers thrive on goals. When I came back from injury I got a few early on and I was buzzing.
"But it's difficult when you're in and out of the side, but as long as I get a run of games, I believe I will score goals."
