KEVIN O'Connor has told his team-mates to put the Wrexham defeat behind them by putting Barnet out of the Johnstone's Paints Trophy tonight.

Brentford were on the receiving end of a cup upset on Saturday when Conference leaders Wrexham dumped them out of the FA Cup.

But the Bees have the chance to put things right when they travel to Barnet in the area semi final of the JPT tonight, and injured skipper O'Connor has backed his troops to bounce straight back.

He said: “In don't thin we underestimated Wrexham, they just played very well. They passed the ball well and have looked as good as any team in our league have.

“But we have the chance to put things right quickly against Barnet, and that's exactly what the lads will want to do after the disappoinment of Saturday.

“Beat Barnet, and we are one two-legged tie from being at Wembley again, and last year's defeat in the final will be an extra motivation for us.

“It was such a big build upfor the final, which made it all the more gutting when we lost, but these things happen in football.”
