BRENTFORD boss Uwe Rosler has moved quickly to quash speculation linking striker Clayton Donaldson with a move to Doncaster Rovers.

The former Crewe frontman is just 12 months into a three-year deal at Griffin Park after scoring 11 goals in his debut season in TW8.

However, rumours surfaced last night suggesting the Bees were preparing to offload the 28-year-old to League One rivals Doncaster.

But boss Rosler has rubbished the reports and insists Donaldson is a big part of his plans at the club.

He said: “I don't know where these rumours have come from - we have had no contact about Clayton.

“We're very happy with him. He has two years left on his contract and is definitely a player in our plans for the future.”
