BRENTFORD look to be have priced out of a move for Peterborough midfielder Toumani Diagouraga .

The Frenchman, who made 20 appearances on loan for the Bees from Posh last season, told the Chronicle last month he wanted to make his move to Griffin Park permanent.

But we can exclusively reveal that Bees boss Andy Scott is unwilling to meet Posh’s price tag.

He said: “Unfortunately it doesn’t look like it’s going to happen with Toumani. Peterborough are asking for a ridiculous amount of cash for him.

“It’s disappointing, but he’s their player and it’s their prerogative to put a price tag on him. But we don’t agree with it and won’t be held to ransom.”
