TOUMANI Diagouraga insists he's got a point to prove against former club Peterborough United tomorrow.
The French midfielder was an ever-present under Darren Ferguson before the Scot was axed, but failed to impress new boss Mark Cooper before being shipped out on loan to Brentford.
Diagouraga made 20 appearances during a successful loan spell at Griffin Park last season, but returned to London Road in the summer.
However, following another managerial change, the 23-year-old was told he was surplus to requirements by Gary Johnson without even kicking a ball.
Diagouraga completed a permanent move to TW8 in the summer, and admits he's desperate to show the Posh chief what he's missing and help the Bees climb up the table.
He said: "Things were very good under Darren Ferguson, but when he left things went really wrong.
"It didn't work out under Mark Cooper, and Gary Johnson told me I wasn't needed before pre-season had started.
"I don't even think he's ever seen me play! It was difficult to take but you have to move on.
"I feel I've got a bit of a point to prove, but the most important thing is getting the three points."
