STUART Dallas is ready to take his chance with both hands if handed a start against Dagenham & Redbridge tonight.
Dallas was unfortunate to sit out completely of Saturday's League One opener at Port Vale after an impressive pre-season for Brentford.
But with Bees boss Uwe Rosler expected to give some of those who missed out some game time in tonight's Capital One Cup tie, Dallas is champing at the bit.
He said: “I felt I had a good pre-season, and naturally I was disappointed not to even make the squad on Saturday, but that just shows the quality of options we have here now.
“The gaffer will probably make a few changes for Dagenham, but will want to put out as strong a team as possible too. Hopefully I will be involved.
“My aim is to make a few more appearances than last season and keep working harder, and when I get a chance to make sure I take it.”
