BRENTFORD have re-opened talks with Shaleum Logan that could see the defender remain at Griffin Park.
The former Manchester City full-back played 32 times in his debut season with the club, but failed to make enough appearances to trigger the one-year option in his contract.
Bees boss Uwe Rosler decided to leave the 23-year-old off his released list while he mulled over his future as both parties explored other options.
Brentford made an enquiry for former Bristol City right-back Christian Ribeiro , but the Chronicle understand the club have decided against offering a contract to the Welsh international.
And the Bees have instead re-opened negotiations with Logan with a view to the utility man staying in TW8.
Rosler said: “We are in talks at the moment. I have met with his agent so we will see where we are.”
