BRENTFORD are lining up a loan move for Watford defender Adam Thompson .

The Northern Irishman spent a spell at Griffin Park earlier in the season, making 10 appearances for the Bees.

Boss Uwe Rosler tried to bring the 19-year-old back to TW8 in November, only for the move to be blocked as Thompson was needed at Vicarage Road as cover.

Brentford signed fellow Hornet Dale Bennett for a second stint in January, but he returned to the Championship club at the end of the month.

Rosler is short of options in defence, and is keen to add another right-back to his squad to provide competition for Shaleum Logan .

And the Chronicle understand the Bees are in talks with Watford about bringing Thompson back to the club when the loan window reopens on Thursday.
