BRENTFORD are weighing up a move for youngsters from some of Europe's top clubs.
Bees boss Nicky Forster is still looking to bolster his squad as he bids to maintain his unbeaten start to life in the hotseat.
And the club have widened their search to overseas, with players from Sporting Lisbon, Inter Milan, Ajax, Rosenborg and PSV Eindhoven on the radar.
First-team coach Mark Warburton , who helped bring loanees Adam Reed and Nathan Byrne to Griffin Park, said: "I've spent the last few months working on a project involving some of the top sides in Europe.
"Their academies include players up to 21 years of age, so that's a market we can hopefully tap in to.
"There's one or two diamonds who could do a job for us and help them as well."
