SHALEUM Logan has signed a new deal at Brentford.

The former Manchester City full-back played 32 times in his debut season with the club, but failed to make enough appearances to trigger the one-year option in his contract.

Bees boss Uwe Rosler decided to leave the 23-year-old off his released list while he mulled over his future as both parties explored other options.

Brentford made an enquiry for former Bristol City right-back Christian Ribeiro , but the club have decided against offering a contract to the Welsh international.

The Chronicle revealed yesterday that the Bees had instead re-opened talks with Logan, who has agreed a deal to remain in TW8.
