NICKY Forster has hailed the impact of sidekick Mark Warburton ahead of tonight's clash with Notts County .

The former Watford academy coach was brought in to assist Forster during his temporary spell in the Griffin Park hotseat, putting the players through their paces at Jersey Road as well as taking his place in the dugout on matchdays.

The new dream team has helped Brentford to four wins and a draw in their first month in charge.

And Fozzy insists Warburton's work hasn't gone unnoticed.

Forster said: "The sessions Warbs puts on are very different. We have made training much higher intensity, which mirrors a matchday.

"The duration of our sessions will be 90 minutes. The one thing Warbs is really good at is communicating.

"He gets his points across very well and puts a variety of sessions on. Players don't like to do is the same thing day after day."

Warburton has also brought his contacts book with him to Griffin Park, and helped bring in on-loan Leicester City defender Robbie Neilson .

"He's got very good contacts all over really," added Forster.

"His job before this was setting up football competitions with some of the biggest clubs in the world, so he's got really good links, not only in this country."
