UWE Rosler has challenged his Brentford stars to earn a new deal at Griffin Park.

Richard Lee was the latest Bees player to commit his future to the club recently when he agreed fresh terms that will keep him in TW8 until 2013.

The former Watford keeper follows Simon Moore and Leon Legge in being rewarded with new contracts since Rosler took charge in the summer.

However, Karleigh Osborne , Marcus Bean, Sam Saunders and Gary Alexander (pictured) are among the players who are in the final year of their deals.

And Rosler has thrown down the gauntlet to them to prove their worthy of staying at the club.

He said: “If players perform consistently like Richard Lee then we'll be in contact with them. We want to reward the players for good performances.

“We can't renew everyone at once. We'll take our time and do things step by step.”
