KEEPER Richard Lee earned praise from Brentford boss Uwe Rosler for admitting he was too unwell to face Scunthorpe on Saturday.

Simon Moore took Lee's place between the sticks at Glanford Park and kept a clean sheet in the goalless draw.

But Rosler made sure former Watford stopper Lee took some of the plaudits too for his honesty.

He said: “Richard is one of my vice captains and is very responsible. He came to me and said he had a virus and asked for more time to recover, which was very responsible of him.

“Simon Moore came in and done very well, but we already know what a talented keeper he is.”
