ANDY Scott admitted he’ll be watching Monday’s game against Exeter from the stands too after receiving a two-game touchline ban.

Fans were surprised to see the Brentford manager sat in the seats during the 1-1 draw at Millwall on Friday night, while assistant Terry Bullivant prowled the touchline.

The fact that Scott had received a ban for a rant at the referee following the 3-0 defeat at Brighton had been kept quiet by the club.

But with the cat now out of the bag, he said: “I’ll be sitting in the Braemer Road stand for the Exeter game, probably waving my scarf.

“It’s a two-game ban, for comments made to the referee at Brighton. It’s a different view of the game, and not an ideal one.”

But Scott was delighted with what he saw from his different vantage point at The New Den, although he admitted Carl Cort ’s opening goal may have been offside.

He said: “It was a good London derby and Millwall are on a role, so it was a massive effort from us.

“We scored a goal which looked a bit offside, but I’m pleased for Carl as he’s been champing at the bit.

“We have to pick his games as it takes him a while to recover, and this was one where we needed his experience in an intimidating arena.”
