MILL Bowls Club celebrated a clean sweep this week. Corisande Mason, John Hornibrook and Dennis Stanbury (29-6) led the way as they beat Pavilion 79-59.

They followed it up with a 85-39 demolition of Deane Park, with Win Barrows, Richard Kittel and Tony Jones (28-6) top-scoring. Jones was top of then pile again in the win against Bessingby, teaming up with Mason and Mike Hubert (33-4) to help them to a 94-53 triumph overall.

UXBRIDGE Bowls Club stayed on course for a fourth successive 3CL title after thrashing Loudwater.

They won all five rinks, with A Hilton, C Perry, D Harris and D Gray (41-9) leading the way in the 170-59 hammering.

The result means Uxbridge have won the B League section, and will now play the winners of the A League in a play-off on Sunday, September 20.

COURT Park Bowls Club had mixed fortunes this week. S Haw, N Smith and J Newman (20-6) helped them to a 79-65 win against Chalfont last Tuesday.

But the ladies couldn't repeat the feat against Iver the following day, going down 48-44, despite Haw, M Stilwell and M Newman's 16-12 victory.

P RANCE, C Fitzgerald and M Newton topscored as Harlington saw off Rosedale on Saturday. The trio triumphed 29-5 as Harlington won two rinks, drew one and lost the other in the 75-58 win. D Tierney, J Morris and D Cutmore (18-10) also won.

HAREFIELD Hospital Bowls Club chalked up three wins this week.

C Handicott, M Murgatroyd and M Arnold (25-12) starred as they beat Flackwell Heath 107-97 in a TCL clash.

They followed that up with a 79-62 triumph against Oxhey Pavilion, with S Ross, N Disney, M Moore (24-8) starring.

Harefield chalked up their third win on the spin against Rickmansworth on Saturday, thanks to N and D Disney, G Goodwin and Moore's 29-17 success, giving them a 62-57 win overall.

EASTCOTE Hockey Club host their annual tournament this Saturday, and new members are encouraged to come and join in the action from 10am.
