DONS boss Terry Brown has targeted six points from the next three games as his side continue their fight for League Two survival.

Brown’s men are entering a critical period of the season, starting against Plymouth tonight before they face fellow strugglers Dagenham & Redbridge and Bradford at Kingsmeadow .

The Dons then follow that with a tricky away trip to Bristol Rovers, who currently sit one place above them in the table in 16 th  spot.

Brown is eager to have six points in the bag before they visit the Memorial Stadium and believes last Saturday’s slip-up at Hereford was a wake-up call.

He said: “I’d like to win two out of the [next] three [games] to be honest. I don’t know how many points we need, we’ve got 38 at the moment and there is something like 39 points to play for.

“It’s not like we’ve not got a lot of points to play for and this [the defeat to Hereford] isn’t the end of the world by any means, it’s just a kick up the backside that maybe we need.”
