NAS Bashir says that experienced striker Lloyd Owusu can reignite Hayes and Yeading's Blue Square Premier survival push.
The Hayes and Yeading manager confirmed that the club have now tied up a one-month loan deal for Owusu, who will go straight into Saturday's squad for the visit to Stockport County.
Owusu, who has yet to start a game for Barnet since joining them in the summer, has ties with both Bashir and his new club.
The 34-year-old was at Reading when Bashir was a coach and his career has now gone full circle as he began his rise to the professional ranks as a graduate of the FEDO (Football Education Development Opportunity) that Hayes run in conjunction with East Berkshire College.
"Lloyd has come in and he started off with the club," said Bashir. "I know him from when I was at Reading, he has had a lot of clubs and he brings a lot of experience in terms of helping our younger players.
"He knows where the goal is. Every game this season we have created chances and I am sure he will score goals for us. He will re-energise us and I am looking forward to the Stockport game."
