HAYES & Yeading entertain a strong QPR reserve side tomorrow with manager Garry Haylock (pictured) close to finalising his contracted players for next season.

Haylock says that he has a total of nine players that have agreed to sign up at Church Road, though some have still to put pen to paper, and Saturday's test against a Rangers side fielding several first-teamers will give him another to chance to run the rule over the candidates for the remaining spots.

"It is really starting to come together now as I am a lot further down the line than I thought I would be," he said. "We have still got three weeks to go until the start of the season and I am not a million miles away.

"In terms of contracted players I will probably only take 10 or 11 with seven or eight on short-term deals."

Youngsters Nathan Webb, Charlie Wassmer and Daniel Wishart, skipper Tom Cadmore and midfielder Bradley Pritchard have all committed for next season, while goalkeeper Lee Harrison has also agreed to sign.

Histon centre-back Adam Bygrave is also in Haylock's sights and the likes of New Zealand international Chad Coombes, his former Auckland City team-mate Jason Hayne and Peterborough United striker Ben Wright are the most likely candidates to be contracted players at Church Road.

Several other trialists will feature against a Rangers squad that will boast several first-team fringe players that have not gone on the club's pre-season tour of Italy.

Patrick Agyemang, Allesandro Pellicori, Rowan Vine, Damion Stewart, Joe Oastler, Lee Brown, Romone Rose are the players with first-team experience in Ronnie Jepson's squad.

Entry for the match at Church Road is £10 for adults and £5 for concessions.

- HAYES & Yeading have also pencilled in a fixture at Brunel University tomorrow (10.30am start) when their team of trialists will take on a Wealdstone XI.
