BRENDAN Kiernan and Jason Prior could leave AFC Wimbledon on loan this week.

We exclusively revealed  that striker Prior was close to joining Blue Square Premier outfit Dartford last week and Kiernan could be joining him in heading out the door at Kingsmeadow.

Dons boss Neal Ardley wants to give the duo first-team football, and with opportunities limited at the League Two club, the pair will have to look elsewhere to regain match fitness.

Ardley has spoken to the two players and will attempt to thrash out their Wimbledon futures this morning (Monday).

He said: “That's something I will look at on Monday because at the moment I am just focussing on the next game really. It's just Jason at the moment but we're in talks with Brendan because obviously kids want to play football so we'll try and help him out.”

Ardley is preparing his team for the long trip to Accrington tomorrow night as they continue their survival push.
