ALAN Bennett has warned his AFC Wimbledon team-mates they're still not safe from the drop.

The Dons pulled seven points clear of the League Two relegation zone following yesterday's hard-fought 2-0 win over Morecambe.

However, they are still two short of the magical 50-point mark – the survival target set by boss Neal Ardley .

“We're getting closer,” said Bennett. “It was a good, solid three points, even if it wasn't the prettiest.

“We've won four out of the last five, but it's still tight at the bottom because everyone seems to be pulling off good results.

“We're not safe yet. The gaffer has kept our eyes firmly on the target, and we're still one more win away.

“Hopefully we can do that next week. The sooner we wrap it up the better.”
