BRENTFORD have recalled Alan Bennett from his loan spell at Wycombe Wanderers.

BRENTFORD have recalled Alan Bennett from his loan spell at Wycombe Wanderers .

The Bees centre-back's initial month stay at Adams Park wasn't due to end until tomorrow, but Tommy Smith's departure to Ipswich Town has left Andy Scott short of cover in defence.

Benno played five times for the Chairboys, losing just once.

He will go straight into the squad for tomorrow night's trip to Brighton.
