JERMAINE Beckford's equaliser denied Brentford victory at Leeds United.
Ben Strevens gave the visitors the lead just before the hour mark when he deflected home Charlie MacDonald's shot.
But Beckford hit back for the hosts to leave honours even at Elland Road.
Leeds dominated the early stages, and Wojciech Szczesny had to turn a Robert Snodgrass free-kick round the post inside two minutes.
But Brentford should have took the lead on the half-hour mark. Toumani Diagouraga played in Sam Wood, only for his effort to be parried to safety by Casper Ankergren.
At the other end, Beckford's bullet header flew just over, then Gary McSheffrey fired high and wide.
The Bees restricted the hosts to half chances after the break, Beckford had a long-range effort easily saved by Szczesny, while the former Wealdstone frontman also flashed a header wide.
And it was Brentford who broke the deadlock on 58 minutes.
Good work from Myles Weston earned a corner, and when Kevin O'Connor's kick wasn't cleared, Strevens deflected MacDonald's shot into the roof of the net from four yards.
Leeds piled on the pressure in search of an equaliser, Szczesny turned Leon Legge's header round the post, then denied Beckford from point-blank range.
However, they eventually levelled on 72 minutes when the ball dropped to McSheffrey in the box, and he squared for Beckford to slot home.
MacDonald wasted a decent chance to restore the visitors' lead when he flashed an effort wide, but Leeds almost snatched the points late on when Lubomir Michalik's header hit the post.
