BRENTFORD have confirmed the loan signing of Everton forward Conor McAleny .

We reported yesterday that the Bees had agreed a deal for the 20-year-old attacker, who has made just a handful of first-team appearances for the Toffees but has shone for the U21s.

McAleny spent time on loan at Scunthorpe a couple of seasons ago, only for his time at Glanford Park to be disrupted by injury.

The Everton academy graduate has been on Brentford's radar for a while and has followed former team-mates Jake Bidwell and Adam Forshaw to TW8.

McAleny will remain at Griffin Park until January 6.
