BRENTORD have recalled Antonio German from his loan spell at Gillingham.

The former QPR frontman has scored one goal in seven appearances for the League Two leaders, and was due to remain at the Priestfield Stadium until April 1.

However, with eight games still to play over the next month, the Bees have triggered the 28-day recall clause in the deal to bring German back to Griffin Park.

The 21-year-old has featured four times for Brentford this season, scoring once.
