JAKE Bidwell insists nobody at Brentford is getting carried away after climbing into the automatic promotion places.

Back-to-back home wins means the Bees go into Saturday's crucial clash at Sheffield United second in the table, two points clear of the fourth-placed Blades.

However, on-loan Everton defender Bidwell knows the west Londoners need to carry on their momentum in South Yorkshire.

“It can all change very quickly,” said the young left-back.

“A couple of wins can push you right up there but a few losses and you're back down to seventh or eighth again, so we can't get carried away.

“It's important not to get too high when we win, or too low when we lose. That's the way we've been all season.

“We need to carry that through to the end. We know it's going to be tough, but we've got to try and treat it as any other game.

“Whoever you play at this stage of the season will be difficult.”
