BRENTFORD have shown an interest in Reading defender Kaspars Gorkss.
The Bees have been in the market for a new centre-back all summer and had a bid rejected for Leicester City youngster Liam Moore last week.
Boss Uwe Rosler cast an eye over Gorkss during Reading's 2-1 pre-season friendly defeat at Bristol Rovers on Sunday with view to a possible swoop for the 31-year-old Latvian.
The German was also understood to be watching young Rovers centre-half Tom Parkes .
The 21-year-old former Leicester City man earned rave reviews during his first full season with the Gas following a successful loan spell.
