BRENTFORD boss Andy Scott has tipped three players to step up from the youth ranks into the first team this season.

He has high hopes for Jake Reeves, who started Kevin O’Connor’s testimonial game in central midfield, and for Chris Bush and James Whyte , who came on in the second-half.

Scott said: "Jake Reeves has done very well for us and we would like to keep him involved, and he will be better for the experience of starting the game playing alongside first team players.

“Chris Bush came out to Portugal with us, and James Whyte has done very well too, and I expect those three to play a part for us next season."
