BRENTFORD boss Nicky Forster is stepping up his search for new signings after landing the manager's job on a permanent basis.
The veteran striker will remain in charge at Griffin Park until the end of the season, but is still keen to bolster his squad, despite extending their unbeaten run to six games against Notts County last night.
He said: "We're still looking. We're hopeful of getting Adam Reed back in the near future, and there are areas we would still like to look at.
"But whether we can get the quality in, we're not too sure yet."
However, the 37-year-old insists he isn't after a striker, despite ruling himself out of a return to the fold.
"We always like lots of striker, but we have a wealth of them," he added.
"We've got boys like Nicholas Bignall and Lewis Grabban who can play on the flanks, but their preferred roles are through the middle.
"We have options up there."
