BRENTFORD boss Uwe Rosler will check on the fitness of Richard Lee before deciding whether to dip into the loan market.
First-choice keeper David Button will serve a three-match ban after the club decided not to appeal against his red card in Saturday's defeat at Bradford City.
That leaves Rosler with rookie Jack Bonham and Liam O'Brien as his only available cover, with Lee not fully-fit.
The 30-year-old hasn't featured for more than eight months due to a serious shoulder injury, but is on the road to recovery.
Lee resumed full training earlier this week, and Rosler will speak to the club's medical staff to see whether he is ready for a return to action.
He said: “We have to assess the situation with Richard. We'll have a meeting to see where we are.
“He's on the right track, but is he ready to start competitive league games?
“In general I was very happy with that department, but Jack Bonham has played a number of games with heavy defeats.
“I made it clear that was not down to him. He's played quite a bit and was good in pre-season.
“I'll speak to him and see how he is because we have to make the right decision for Saturday.”
