UWE Rosler has warned his side they can't afford a slow start when they take on promotion rivals Swindon Town tonight.

Brentford travel to the County Ground within touching distance of the play-off places, while the Robins could climb into the top two if results go their way.

Paolo Di Canio's men were out of sight by the break as they breezed past Yeovil at the weekend, but the Bees left it late to come from behind to snatch a point at Preston.

However, boss Rosler insists his team must come flying out the traps if they're to return down the M4 with a share of the spoils.

“We have to be on our toes from the beginning,” he said.

“They started like a house on fire against Yeovil and have quality throughout their team. The first goal will be very important – both teams know that.

“Swindon are also playing with a direct style, so it will be another physical test for us. They are an energetic team who press all over the pitch.

“When the opposition do their homework sometimes they will not let us play, but we still have to try and get the ball down.

“There's not room for mistakes because against sides of this quality we will get punished.”

Swindon have carried their impressive form from last season into the new campaign following promotion in May.

Fellow League One new-boys Crawley are also in the mix, and Rosler says he's not shocked by the Wiltshire side's start.

He added: “I'm not surprised at the good start they have made when you look at the players they brought in in the summer.

“When their transfer embargo was lifted recently they went and signed two Championship players on loan so they are really going for it.”
