PRABESH KATAWAL slammed in a season's-best 26 points as Feltham Community College Year 8s continued their dominance of borough basketball this week.

Unbeaten in the Hounslow Borough League for the past two years, Feltham retained their crown with a 60-18 win over Heathland.

With Katawal and Leon Shafique running the offence and Michael Fayombo gobbling up the rebounds, Feltham opened up a 14-4 first-quarter lead.

Backed up by Hamza Mirza and Ryan Dingle, Katawal continued his dominance in the second-quarter as Feltham stretched their lead to 26-8.

Calum Matthews and Ben Edwards pulled the strings after the break, while Srdan Petrovic, Aseel Abdullah and Asif Brohi gave vital contributions.

And a final push of 20 points in the final quarter saw Feltham home comfortably, with Mirza and Shafique backing up Katawal's haul with 11 and 10 points respectively.

Coach Andy Justice said: "The players have really come far this year.

"They are committed to improving and it's a pleasure to see them achieve the success they have had. They are a real credit to the College."
