Wealdstone boss Gordon Bartlett will reshuffle his pack for Saturday's trip to Tonbridge Angels after a spate of injuries to key members of his squad.

On-loan teenage striker Marvin Sordell has been recalled to Watford as new boss Brendan Rogers wants to look at all the players at his disposal, while another loanee hit-man, Davis Haule, has picked up a knee injury.

Skipper James Gray is out for three weeks with badly bruised ribs, while Kieron Forbes is doubtful after picking up a groin injury at Hastings. The captain's armband is likely to go to one of the previous bearers [2014] Lee Chappell, Ryan Ashe or Chris O'Leary.

Greg Nygoyi is likely to be pitched into action after his midweek brace against Met Police while Ben Alexander, who was also on target on Tuesday night, could also come back into the reckoning. Ben Clarke and young Frenchman Alioun Fall are also pushing for a start up front.

"Tonbridge were always going to be one of the favourites to go up and they are up there already," said Bartlett of Stones' next Ryman Premier opponents. "It is another long journey and a tough game away from home.

"Having five wins on the trot was great, and all of a sudden we've suffered two defeats. We don't want to start slipping back down the table, and where better to nip this run in the bud than at Tonbridge.

"Winning is a habit. We got into it and I certainly don't want to get out of it."

Stones host Wembley in the second round of the Middlesex Senior Cup next Tuesday, and Bartlett is again likely to field a mix of first team and reserve players for the contest.

"I'd prefer it if we'd had these cup games earlier when I had an abundance of players at my disposal," he said. "But now I've got injuries they are more of a hinderance."
