British Airways' campaign did not get past first base when the Windsor and Maidenhead District Mixed Softball League outdoor season was officially opened at the weekend.

BA were unable to get through the group stage of the annual Windsor First Ball tournament at Farnham Park near Slough.

With the First Ball Tournament out of the way, all eyes now turn to the league with the Division 1 season openers taking place on Tuesday (May 6) and Division 2 on Thursday (May 8).
