VENCEREMOS has been presented with the prestigious Charter Standard status award - just 17 months after transforming from a senior to a youth football club.

The Rayners Lane-based club, which attracts kids of all abilities aged from four to ten, was granted the status by the FA in recognition of its focus on matters such as child welfare and the FA's Respect campaign.

Venceremos now plans to build partnerships with local schools and to increase participation amongst youngsters in the south of the borough.

Meanwhile, the U10s side drew 1-1 with Ruislip Rangers D last weekend with Alfie Fuller on target.

On Sunday, Lewis Dolling grabbed a hat-trick as they eased to a 6-2 win against previously unbeaten Brentham.

Ben Diamond, John Courtenage and Ryan Keates scored the other goals.
