Brentford schoolgirl Charlotte Gould returned from the English Schools Championships in Birmingham with a silver medal.
Gould, competing for Windsor, Slough, Eton & Hounslow AC, came second in the senior girls hammer with a throw of 47.89m.
She is coached at WSEH by Paul Dickenson, a former international hammer thrower and current BBC athletics commentator.
There was also a second place finish in the senior 400m hurdles for Isleworth's Emily Barrett at the
Southern Womens League Premier Division meeting in Guildford, clocking 67.5 secs.
She helped the WSEH Ladies B team maintained their top of the table position with an overall team victory on the day.
It was also a good weekend for the WSEH Men's B team, who scored a comfortable victory in their Southern Men's League Division One West home match at Eton to secure a place in the divisional finals later this month.
