With no athletics club based in the borough any longer, they have to travel across the boundary for their training.

But that didn't stop four St Mary's Richmond AC runners being the stars of the show at the Hounslow Mini Marathon on Sunday.

Siblings Jack and Rebecca Killip won their respective races - Jack taking the crown in the 13-14 boys race and Rebecca in the 11-12 girls race.

The pair are coached by Noel Stoddart at St Mary's - which also produced the winners of the 15-17 boys and girls races in the shape of Bradley Goater and Rebecca Townsend.

The top eight in each race will go on to represent Hounslow in the London Mini Marathon, which takes in the last five miles of the marathon course, in April.

The other winners were Jivendra Singh (11-12 boys) and Tulsi Hansla (13-14 girls).

Other qualifiers were: Ben Kennard, Tommy Cameron, Harish Puri, George Inman, Kyle Kenrick, Mohammed Khaliqiar, Ahmed Adam, Tamim Amin, Stephen Eaton, Mohamed Brahimi, Mason Welch-Turner, Salaheddine Brahimi, Kharan Sekhon, Adam Kenton-Harris, Sam Conway, Ahmed Gannat, Sameer Monir, Ryan Moran, Sean Walters, Samuel Scurville, Alfie Howell, Patricia Mogne, Rio Herring, Harley Serdet, Karandeep Gill, Shauna Moran, Hannat Hamad, Aimee Joyce, Danielle Croucher, Patricia Pathmarajah, Sidra Khan, Orianna Rosa-Royle, Shanice Miller, Samantha Eaton, Adeeba Khan, Paloma Duncan, Kellyann Murray, Anna Blake, Sangeetha Veluru and Georgina Wile.
