A DOUBLE from Kevin Chakaodza helped AFC Hayes to secure the derby bragging rights once again last night.

Danny Vincent's (pictured) men are becoming experts at winning the local scraps in Zamaretto Division One Central and they did it again by beating Northwood 4-2 at Farm Park.

AFC Hayes, who recently completed the league double over Uxbridge, moved up to fourth from bottom with victory over a Northwood side that were forced to include boss Steve Hale as goalkeeper due to an injury crisis.

Chakaodza opened the scoring in the 37 th minute and Dominic Rhone made it two with a penalty that was hotly-contested just after the break.

Though Northwood halved the deficit 12 minutes from time through Scott Orphanou, it was a brief revival from the visitors and Troy Quarry-Powell made it 3-1 in the 84 th minute.

Chakaodza's second killed off Northwood and a late goal from Jake Lovell was of consolation value only.

Meanwhile, Uxbridge failed to ease their own relegation fears as they lost 3-2 at home to Bedworth United last night, an own goal from Kyle Cartwright and a Mo Hashi strike not enough to save the hosts.
