TEENAGE St Clarets stars kept on the road to glory in the Championship this week.

The Saints U16s are through to the semi-finals following victory over Parnells.

They will be hoping to book their spot in the finals with a win against Round Towers in this evening’s (Wednesday’s) last four clash in Greenford.

Should St Clarets progress, it is expected that the finale will take place this weekend.

Meanwhile, the club’s seniors were beaten 0-10 to 0-9 in the Intermediate Football Championships on Sunday evening against St Joseph’s.

And there was a first for St Clarets’ U12s this week as the club were invited to Tir Chonaill Gaels, in Greenford, to play a challenge match against their girl’s team.

Five Saints girls, with four bringing along their brothers for help, put in a spirited display on the night.

The players involved were Kira and Joseph Hedger, Ciara and Liam Hession, Lilly and Milo McNulty, and Annabel, Sabina and Szymek Reddin.
