Uxbridge missed a golden opportunity to continue their climb up the British Gas Business League Division One South & West table when they went down to a 1-0 defeat at lowly Taunton Town last night (Wednesday).
The only goal of the game came in the 24th minute when Danny Lane rounded Reds keeper Paul McCarthy after capitalising on a defensive mix up.
Uxbridge domintaed the second half but could not find a way through a resolute Taunton defence and after crashing five goals past leaders Truro City on Saturday they slipped to their first league defeat since September.
