Uxbridge will be looking to cause a cup shock when Dorchester Town come to Honeycroft on Saturday in the FA Trophy third qualifying round.

Dorchester play in the Blue Square Conference South but currently sit in a lowly 18th position and they arrive at Uxbridge on the back of losing out to Oxford United, 3-1 after extra-time, in a FA Cup first round replay in midweek.

However, the Dorset side will still present stiff opposition for the Reds who suffered a disappointing 1-0 defeat on Wednesday night at Taunton Town in the British Gas Business League Division One Soutrh & West.

Uxbridge boss Tony Choules will have to watch his second match from the stands as he completes a two match FA touchline ban picked up in the FA Cup defeat at Heybridge Swifts back in September.

Dorchester have a number of former Football League players amongst their ranks including joint leading scorer Jamie Mudge and Danny Clay, who both played for Exeter City, and midfielders Kevin Hill (Torquay United) and Nick Crittenden, who can list Chelsea, Plymouth Argyle, Yeovil Town and Aldershot among his former clubs.

Hayes and Yeading United are also in Trophy action on Saturday when Chelmsford City come to Church Road for a fascinating all Blue Square Conference South clash.

Jeff King's Chelmsford currently top the table while Hayes & Yeading are second and when the sides met on the opening day of the season at Church Road it was the Essex side who emerged 1-0 winners.

Both games kick off at 3pm.
