Hayes and Yeading United face a St Albans City side at Church Road tomorrow (Saturday 21/2) who have now gone 11 Blue Square Conference South matches without a win.

However, seventh placed United's form this year has hardly been that of promotion contenders and they have now slipped six points behind Maidenhead United who currently occupy the last play-off position.

Time is running out for Garry Haylock's side to keep dropping crucial points and a victory tomorrow is vital if they are to mount a serious challenge for a play-off spot in the final third of the season.

This will be the third time the sides have met this term, they drew 1-1 in the league and H&Y won 1-0 at Clarence Park in the Setanta Shield.

Former H&Y striker Simon Martin is set to return for St Albans having missed their 1-1 draw at Bishops Stortford last Satruday, which saw danger man Paul Hakim net his 12th goal of the season for City, who sit 14th in the table.

Kick off tomorrow at Church Road is 3pm.
