A strong Hayes & Yeading United side hammered Hillingdon Borough 8-2 in the Middlesex Senior Cup on Tuesday evening.

A strong Hayes & Yeading United side hammered Hillingdon Borough 8-2 in the Middlesex Senior Cup on Tuesday evening.

Scott Fitzgerald and youth team striker Jake Lovell both grabbed hat-tricks at the Middlesex Stadium as United ran riot against their opponents from the Ryman League Division One North.

Hayes & Yeading led 5-1 at the interval and then added three more second half goals as Toby Little and Steven Gregory also netted with striker Adrian Allen scoring both goals for Hillingdon.

United's Steve Perkins made his 50th appearance for the club in the match.
