Wolves won't sign Richard Stearman permanently, throwing the defender's future into doubt.

The defender signed for F ulham in 2015 but was loaned back to the club the following season for the entirety of the campaign having not featured in any of the opening league games of the season.

He made 19 appearances in all competitions for Wolves and scored at Anfield against Liverpool as they knocked them out of the FA cup at the end of January, but his time there has come to an end and he has now returned to Fulham.

There will be no attempts made to sign Stearman permanently from Molineux and his future at the Cottage is now a doubt, with Slavisa Jokanovic preferring Tim Ream, Michael Madl and Ragnar Sigurdsson all ahead of the Englishman.

Stearman still has another year left on his Fulham contract and won't be short of suitors should the club decide his services are no longer required.
